The T-4 transmission was offered from 1979 to mid-year 1983 and the T-5 debuted in mid-year 1983 and remained through 1993. The C-4 (3-speed automatic) was offered from 1979 to 1981 and the C-5 (3-speed automatic) was offered in 1982. The AOD debuted in 1984 and remained through 1993.
